SYNC is a celebration of the diverse and interconnected talents emerging from the School of Film & Media Studies
(FMS).
Just as the vibrant, fluid visuals in the references blend light and form, SYNC reflects how creativity,
collaboration, and technical mastery converge in harmony across disciplines like Film Sound Video (FSV), Mass
Communication (MCM), and Media Post-Production (MPP).
Neither too little nor too much.
The showcase invites audiences to explore how FMS students "sync" their skills, passion, and vision to produce
compelling projects — each unique yet interconnected, revealing the many facets of a creative mosaic..
Film, Sound & Video [FSV]
FSV is Singapore's top filmmaking course, where aspiring filmmakers tell impactful stories and raise social
awareness. From pre-production to post-production, students use industry-standard tools and facilities. They
create works that inspire, uplift, and make a difference.
Mass Communication [MCM]
MCM is a premier course that trains versatile media professionals ready to excel in diverse fields. Students
gain hands-on experience in journalism, advertising, radio, and video production. It's a dynamic learning
journey preparing them for Singapore's vibrant media landscape.
Media Post-Production [MPP]
MPP trains students in motion graphics, audio and video editing, and multi-camera production. They create
immersive content using 3D motion graphics, sound design, and projection mapping. Graduates are skilled in
crafting for 'live' stage events and dynamic environments.
